Tikehau

Tikehau, the pink atoll: a coral jewel where time stands still and beauty multiplies.

Tikehau, whose name means “island of peace” in reo mā’ohi, is a delicate and radiant atoll located in the Tuamotu archipelago, just 55 minutes by plane from Tahiti. This coral ring, surrounded by a luminous lagoon and dotted with motus of white and pink sand, embodies the very essence of Polynesian paradise: remote, authentic, and deeply serene. With untouched nature and a discreet human presence, Tikehau is an ode to luxurious simplicity. Here, true luxury is silence, the light filtered through palm trees, the feeling of walking alone on an endless beach, or the chance to dive into turquoise waters where marine life thrives like nowhere else.

Access: direct flight from Tahiti (55 minutes) or from Rangiroa (20 minutes)

Essential activities :

  • Diving in one of the richest marine environments in the Pacific: Tuheiava Pass, Tikehau’s main dive site, offers a unique underwater spectacle: grey sharks, schools of barracudas, and manta rays. Private dives, guided by expert instructors, cater to all levels for a personalized and exclusive experience.

  • Snorkeling among manta rays in crystal-clear waters: Explore coral gardens teeming with tropical fish and observe the majestic manta rays up close in their natural habitat.

  • Deep-sea sport fishing: Venture with a local guide into the deep waters surrounding the atoll, in search of tuna, wahoo, or mahi-mahi. An experience for ocean lovers and thrill seekers.

  • Exclusive excursions to uninhabited motus: Picnics on pink sandbanks, kayaking explorations in hidden lagoons, or paddleboarding at sunset.
